Sponsoring Ugandan women infected with HIV/AIDS to provide basic necessities, food, medical care, counseling & the skills they need to create a self sustaining income.
The Facts

It's estimated that there are 940,000 people with HIV living in Uganda, and a further 1.2 million children who have been orphaned by AIDS.

Women represent 59% of those infected with HIV/ AIDS in Uganda. Young women are 9x more likely to contract HIV than young men.
The Need
Some of these women have been brutally tortured – both mentally and physically. Lips, ears, noses and even genital parts severed from their bodies.
The wounds and scars are a constant reminder of their past and they’re also part of the reason for the harsh rejection they receive from their community and family.
Our Response
You can be the change in the life of one of these women by deciding to sponsor them. Sponsorship is being run through the Watoto Australia and is $40/ month which provides funding for the entire Living Hope Program.
